Draw a grid with 5 columns. This is what they’re for:

  • The 1st column is for you to list all your ‘EARNINGS AND ASSETS’.
  • The 2nd column is ‘CURRENT’ and this is where you write in current earnings and assets
  • The 3rd column is ‘TARGET’ and this is where you write what you’d like your earnings and assets to be worth in a year’s time
  • The 4th column is ‘WHICH CAN I CHANGE?’ this is where you look at what you can do and tick those that you can change during the year.
  • The 5th column is ‘HOW EASILY CAN I CHANGE THEM?’ Now start to get to the nitty gritty and work out if you have an easy wins to increase income, or where your best options are for getting more money. You never know that knob could be within your grasp!!!! Get writing, calculating and thinking…
