pasta bake and orangesThis week you need to make for Tesco to buy St augur cheese . Brocloi is also cheap and healthy there this week and this works with brocoli though not as well .For the oranges Waitrose have the most marvellous bargain 4 big fat juicy ones for £1.14. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE WHILST THERE , too expensive. Before the guests arrive peel and slice the oranges , put in a bowl . In a pan put 3 tablesppons of sugar and large spash of water 20ml to make a syrup . let it boil and the sugar melt , poor over the oranges and if you can find some fresh mint then chop up a bit of that and add to the pot or else a drop of brandy brandy. You can do this in the afternoon. Ingredients . As you are all laughing over a wine glass of own lable cider , decanted beautifully into a glass jug , Elizabethan style Shove a big bag of penne shaped pasta into a pan of boiling water .Dried pasta I have been told by a friend of mine who is very big in pasta is as good as fresh if not better !!!!!!! Cook in boiling water , drain shove in bowl and add the bag of spinach and crumbled cheese , let it all squoodge in and melt . Serve with some french bread you have warmed in the oven.
