Starting Up A Kate & Emily Group

Kate and I got over the ‘tough’ bit post seperation, but found we were in need of advice on various aspects of divorce and being a single parent: how do I manage change such as introducing new boyfriends or step children? How do I make the children feel secure? How do I deal with the ex and his/her family, friends etc?’

 And we were also keen to meet up with other single mothers and fathers to paint the town red with, have fun with, and share ideas and problems with. We wanted a good buddy network and we didn’t want to rely on our married friends for all our social life! So we set up Kate & Emily and got groups of single parents together.
 
The single parents we met became so important to use that we thought we'd pass on what we learnt in this section.  We want to give you the encouragement and guidance you need to set up your own local Kate & Emily Buddy Group. As a one of the marvellous divorced friends remarked  to emily 'no man is an island, we all need company'
