Hello It is a big change
Hello
It is a big change when parents split up and it does take time to get used to things . There is nothing wrong with you . Nothing about how you feel is odd. Try to write down in a diary or an exercise book how you feel. start every day with something good or funny that happened then just write about what worries you
, what you are looking forward to , what is good , about your friends and your hobbies.
So yes do take some time to think through the things that are upsetting you, but then try to put them to one side and focus on things you enjoy like having fun with your friends and family doing sport or art ,reading or going to the library or whatever you like to do.
Things can't be as they were, but they can still be fine. Do talk to your family and tell them how you feel. Lots of parents assume their children are doing fine and sometimes it is difficult to talk so if you are worried about talking to Mum or Dad then maybe an aunty, teacher or Grandparent will be able to just listen to you?
Love
Kate
